Who I Am,

Hi! My name is Augustus Glick, I am my mother's son, and I am 6'1. Yes—like the Roman emperor; Yes—like biologically; and Yes—legitimately 6'1". I am also based in New York, to complete the slate.

I'm also a writer and a barback. In June of 2025, I graduated from Northwestern University with a B.A. in Theatre and Creative Writing. My education has confidently laid the foundation for my carrying kegs and replacing speed pourers.

I’m really drawn to the word “Sonder.” Defined by John Koenig as the realization that every passerby, every “extra” in the narrative that orbits you you you, is “living a life as vivid and complex as your own.” I like to create work that reminds us that everyone is a main character. Everyone is a protagonist in their own story, and those stories are enlightening—worthy of being heard.

I recently made the jump to New York so I could spend all my money on rent and because I probably read Catcher in the Rye once. And outside my PTO,  I'm local until called elsewhere.
